Breaking news for all Duluth, MN locals: Amazon.com Services LLC has recently acquired two significant parcels of land in Atlas Industrial Park from the Duluth Economic Development Authority (DEDA). This transaction, which took place on December 13, 2023, totaled an impressive $90,324.
You may remember these parcels from when DEDA initially purchased them in 2004 from Universal Atlas Cement Division. They’re conveniently located along Commonwealth Avenue, right next to Granite Works.
In 2023, the newly acquired Amazon properties were valued at $63,900 and $69,400 respectively. Interestingly, the neighboring Granite Works has seen a remarkable increase in market value, jumping from $924,900 in 2023 to a whopping $1,793,500 estimated for 2024.
